    After coming here with two of my friends and having a negative experience due to the service (kept ignoring us and had to physically flag down waitstaff who had an attitude), the manager reached out to apologize, which I greatly appreciated -- hence the 5 stars, because the quality of the food is amazing and everything we had was so so delicious. Recommend the Meatballs (which I got both times), the Side of Crispy Potatoes, and the Date Banana Bundino! Food: 1. Meatballs: super tender and flavorful; large size as well! 2. Crispy Potatoes: amazing; slightly lemony and the skin was crispy while the insides were soft. 3. Truffle Pacchieri: creamy and delicious with a very truffle-y sauce. The mini meatballs were juicy and the burrata was stretchy. Everything combined had a unique and fun texture. 4. Date Banana Bundino: the waiter recommended this for dessert, and this was AMAZING! The dates were okay, but the cake itself was crusty on top and full of banana, so it was very moist and not too sweet. Drinks: 1. Espresso Martini: smooth and strong! 2. Peachy Frose: tart, smooth, and overall delightful. You can't taste the alcohol too much, which is great for someone who hates the taste of alcohol (me)

    If you like Italian with a modern twist, this is hands down the best place to go in Little Italy! Everything G&G offers is delicious. Their pizzas are to die for and their pastas are perfectly al dente and seasoned to perfection. There are a great variety of vegetarian options, and lots of exciting ingredients to zest up traditional dishes, like pistachio in pesto, peppercinis and truffles on mushroom pizza, two types of Arancini balls--nothing is bland or dull. Also love their drinks, which are great for summer, their atmosphere has a rustic wooden setting with gorgeously decorated high ceilings. Hosts were friendly and service was very attentive. Highly recommend coming with a group and ordering a bunch of items to try!

    This was a fun spot, located right in the heart of little Italy. We had a nice table outside and enjoyed a few different pasta dishes. The service was pretty good - they seemed a bit busy even at 4:30 pm, but nothing to complain about. We ordered the Vongle pasta and Truffle Pacchieri. They were really tasty.
